Plastic
Collective term for materials composed by macromolecular organic compounds produced by chemical synthesis or by modification of natural products. Usually, they are meltible and plasticible under certain conditions (heat and pressure). Plastics are rather resistant against rotting and corrosion, they feature strong electrical, thermal and sonic isolation. Plastics can be coloured, printed and metallized.
